Smoke Shop — Shipping Policy
We offer nationwide door-to-door delivery across South Africa on all smoke shop orders, using trusted courier partners. Our preferred courier is The Courier Guy, and we also offer PUDO locker delivery for smaller, everyday orders.
Most orders are dispatched within 1–3 working days. Because our smoke shop carries everything from small rolling accessories to large glass pieces and specialty equipment, it's worth checking which shipping tier applies to your order before checkout.
How Smoke Shop Shipping Works
Your shipping cost depends on what you're ordering and how much it weighs.
Standard shipping applies to orders that are under 2kg and not fragile, large, or bulky.
Special Handling applies if your order weighs over 2kg or contains fragile, large, or bulky items — regardless of weight. This covers things like large bongs, rosin presses, and specialty equipment that need extra care in transit.
Items requiring Special Handling are clearly noted in the product description on the product page.
Standard Shipping Rates
For orders under 2kg containing no fragile, large, or bulky items:

Major cities include areas close to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, and East London.
Outlying areas are a fair distance from a major town or city — places like Kimberley, Piet Retief, or Paarl. Not sure which applies to you? Contact us before ordering.
Townships, farms, and plots are charged a higher rate, as these locations can be higher-risk or harder for our couriers to access — our courier partners apply a "high risk" surcharge to deliveries here, which is reflected in this rate.
Free Shipping
Spend R1250.00 or more and shipping is free — automatically applied at checkout.
Free shipping applies to standard orders only (under 2kg, not fragile, large, or bulky). Orders requiring Special Handling do not qualify, even above R1250.
Delivery times match the standard rates above.
PUDO Locker Shipping — Please Note
PUDO is available for smaller smoke shop orders that don't contain fragile, large, or bulky items. It is limited to items that fit within a single locker: maximum size 60cm x 41cm x 19cm. Orders over 2kg or containing fragile/large items are not eligible.
Choosing your locker: You are responsible for selecting the correct locker and supplying the correct locker details at checkout. We ship to exactly the locker and details you provide. Skyline Smoke Company is not liable if your order is sent to the wrong locker due to incorrect information. Please double-check your selection before completing your order.

Fragile & Heavy (R170 flat rate)
A flat R170.00 nationwide covers fragile items and heavy orders between 2kg and 5kg. This ensures your pieces are handled with extra care and packed securely for safe delivery.
Shipping Deposit (R99) — Large, Bulky & Heavy Over 5kg
For items that are large, bulky, or over 5kg, we charge a R99.00 Shipping Deposit at checkout rather than a fixed rate. This lets us quote you the most accurate, up-to-date courier rate — and the deposit is deducted from your final delivery cost.
Here's how it works:
- You pay the R99 deposit at checkout and place your order.
- We obtain a live delivery quote.
- If the actual cost exceeds the deposit, we'll hold your order and notify you of the difference.
- You can then pay the balance to proceed, or cancel for a full refund.

Prefer to collect? You're welcome to pick up in person or arrange your own courier — ideal for larger, fragile pieces you'd rather not trust to transit.

Shipping Insurance
We pack every order carefully to prevent breakages, and we cover orders up to R1000.00 in value.
For orders over R1000.00 — especially high-value glass or specialty equipment — we strongly recommend arranging insurance, as we are not responsible for loss or damage once your order has been handed to the courier.

Orders over R2000.00 include freebies. Free stickers with every order.
Stock Availability
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–3 working days. While we carry a wide range of smoke shop stock, some products are fulfilled directly from our suppliers. We recommend confirming availability before ordering if you need something urgently.
If a product turns out to be unavailable after your order is placed, we'll offer you an alternative or an immediate refund. If you've already paid, you'll receive a full refund or store credit.
Shipping Delays
During busy periods, dispatch may take a little longer than usual. If your order is significantly delayed, we'll reach out by email or phone to keep you informed.
