Application Guidance

Mixing Guidance

Use water at 18–22°C and check the starting pH and EC. For very soft or zero-EC water, the existing instructions call for calcium adjustment to EC 0.3–0.4 before nutrient is added. Mix for 2–3 minutes, check EC, wait 15–30 minutes, adjust pH, mix again and recheck.

Listed EC reference increases are approximately: 0.5g/L = 1.0mS, 1.0g/L = 1.4mS, 1.5g/L = 2.0mS and 2.0g/L = 2.6mS. Actual final EC depends on source water and other inputs.
